The Repair Shop presenter Jay Blades appeared in court Friday on a coercive behaviour charge, and the BBC rushed to drop all episodes of the show featuring Blades from its TV schedules.

The BBC appears to have hinted at the future of The Repair Shop after Jay Blades was charged with controlling and coercive behaviour. Last week, it was confirmed that Blades, 54, was facing a charge against his estranged wife, Lisa Marie Zbozen.

The BBCs Jay Blades is not currently filming this year’s Christmas special. Blades was charged with coercive behaviour towards his wife. Following his recent court appearance, bosses decided immediately to press pause on his projects.
