Launched just six months ago to meet younger consumers' preferences for spicier products, the raspberry-flavored cola is being discontinued--yet it still outlasted 1985's notorious New Coke.

Coca-Cola announced that it is discontinuing its Coca-Cola Spiced and Coca-Cola Spiced Zero Sugar just seven months after it was introduced. “We have made the decision to remove Coca-Cola Spiced from retail stores by the end of 2024,” Coca-Cola wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Spiced Coke might not have worked out, but the soda company says it has other plans to convert young consumers back from seltzer water and energy drinks. It turns out Spiced Coke is not It.
