We have another hot, sunny, and muggy day on the way. The pups will likely request a dip in the pool, like Archie here, to stay cool. Afternoon temperatures climb into the mid/upper 90s and it will feel close to 100 at times.

It will be warm and a bit more humid today. A few showers are possible early this morning, mainly north of Pittsburgh.

Rain will also become more widespread as the front passes through tonight with showers and storms continuing throughout the day on Sunday. While exact rain amounts will vary, totals up to 1 inch are likely for much of Kansas with some isolated amounts up to 2 inches possible.

Thunderstorms have hit southern parts of the UK with one confirmed tornado in Aldershot. More storms and heavy rain are expected over the weekend with yellow Met Office warnings in force. On Saturday there is the risk of lightning,

Friday was a warm and muggy day, and while a few showers have developed to our west, most of us should stay dry tonight.

An upper disturbance expected for Sunday will bring higher chances of rain to the islands. The upcoming weekend will also bring partly cloudy skies and scattered showers.

Rain continues along the Cape and the South Shore Friday. Clouds will stay thick closer to the coast through your Friday and Saturday. Central Massachusetts will get in on some filtered sunshine through the weekend.

The dry weather pattern that we have experienced over the past week will continue through this weekend and most of next week. The heat will continue but will ease next week. Tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico is still possible next week.
