See the Path of Tropical Storm Helene
T ropical Storm Helene, which evolved from Tropical Cyclone nine, continues to strengthen as it moves towards the Florida coast Tuesday, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) said. As of 8 a.m. Tuesday, the storm was about 150 miles west of Grand Cayman, an island in the Cayman Islands, with maximum sustained winds of 35 mph.
The disturbance is forecast to become a hurricane Wednesday and will strengthen as it crosses the eastern Gulf of Mexico.
