Martin County Commissioners voted Tuesday morning to try and continue negotiations with the city of Stuart and Brightline, despite disagreements on the likelihood of success.

Monday's vote now puts pressure on the Martin County Commission, which on Tuesday is to consider contracts for the station.

Critics are still critical, but much of the public has accepted Brightline and its daily 32 trains through the area.
