A disturbance in the Caribbean Sea is expected to strengthen into a hurricane that will take aim at Florida midweek.
Wednesday Night: Partly to mostly cloudy with some fog possible to settle by dawn in places. Lows: 65-72. Winds: SE 5-15 mph. Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy with a few showers / storms possible.
The storm is expected to move into the Gulf of Mexico this week and will likely strengthen into Hurricane Helene before landfall.
It will will move into the southern Gulf on Wednesday morning, develop into a hurricane and track northward across the Gulf.
