The families of the six workers who died in the March collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore filed lawsuits on Friday against the owner and operator of the cargo ship that struck the bridge.

The employer of the six workers who died in the Key Bridge collapse sued the Singaporean companies behind the massive Dali container ship.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation boarded a vessel managed by the same company whose cargo ship caused the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, according to a statement published Saturday.

Federal agents have boarded a ship managed by Synergy Marine Group, linked to the Baltimore bridge collapse. The FBI, alongside other agencies, is conducting a court-authorized investigation on the Maersk Saltoro.

The families of the six killed when the Dali struck and collapsed the bridge, as well the two aboard the span who survived, asked a judge not to cap damages.

The US Department of Justice has filed a civil lawsuit in the District Court of Maryland seeking more than $100 million from Grace Ocean Private Limited and Synergy Marine Private Limited, the Singaporean companies linked to container ship DALI that struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge in March before it collapsed.

The FBI confirmed agents had boarded a ship in the Port of Baltimore called the Maersk Saltoro, but would not say the reason for the move.
